Contribute FeedbackLocated in a bustling area, this restaurant received mixed reviews. Some guests enjoyed the friendly staff and tasty food, while others found the prices to be high and the quality lacking. Dishes like the burger and roast received positive feedback, but cold food and slow service were also reported. Despite some disappointing experiences, there were mentions of delicious meals such as the falafel and black pudding croquette. Overall, it seems that the restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere and a varied menu, but consistency in food quality and service may need improvement.
Awesome drinks and amazing service!!! The staff were super nice and friendly. The food was totally delicious
Visited today, food arrived cold, complained given a complimentary round of drinks while waiting for replacement food, which was fair enough, but unfortunately the replacement food was also luke warm aswell, front of house was very stars) and polite . We have used the sister restaurant the Wildebeest...on several occasions which is always an excellent experience, but left today very disappointed.
Three of us were booked for a Saturday night. After we had signed in, we were shown to our table. Covid protocols were observed. The menu was not particularly extensive and focussed on burgers of different types. Because of their Coved regulations, it was not...possible to order a starter and then main course; they would both be served together. So we skipped a starter, ordered drinks and main courses. For drinks their speciality was several types of cocktails served by the jug and lagers. They had one “guest” ale which was acceptable. The jug of Mojito was good. For mains, one of us chose a chicken burger, one the harissa aubergine (quite spicy) and one a rare sirloin steak, which was actually cooked medium. For dessert, each one of us had the lemon curd pot which was actually very good. Service was good and attentive. The decor is a bit cold and functional. Parking impossible.
Had Sunday lunch here. First meal out in months and we were not disappointed. Clean, bright and airy. Great friendly staff and some very tasty food. Best roast I've eaten for quite some time. Would recommend and definitely go back.
Found this location on Michelin. Perfectly polite staff, but they had a strange arrangement where they wanted to bring out starters and mains at the same time (although we noticed other tables managed to get space between the two). Food was basic and easy (burgers,...fries, fried chicken) all perfectly decent, but insanely overpriced at London prices for gourmet burgers are cheaper! Staff managed to miss two requests for condiments. There was a hair in the wine glass. Both Beef and chicken burgers were great overdone. Not sure if there has been a change of management or chef, or if Covid has meant operational changes, but the food offerings and quality are wayyyy below that of earlier reviews and pics found for this restaurant on a variety of platforms. Based on our experience, this was most definitely NOT worth a place on the Michelin website.
