The restaurant is an excellent venue that is decorated immaculately with multiple dining areas. We enjoyed some brilliant wines of real quality but not over the top pricey. The food is a punch of flavour and texture. The chefs really understand and taste their product. The gnocchi was outstanding as was the roasted cauliflower and romanesco. I can see why the awards are rolling in. This place delivers in every way.... View all feedback.
Had a function here, food was fantastic, service was even better. Would definitely come back for a feed and would recommend as a function destination also.
We last went here during its previous incarnation as 'Grace' and now discovered they have got rid of the 'French Revolution' theme and taken the decor in the big rear room upmarket. The place was absolutely heaving with people by 7pm on a Friday. Our dinner was a bit chaotic (nothing to do with the restaurant) as we had a big family party celebrating a 6 year old's birthday. The staff managed all this very efficiently, keeping the food coming on big platters. It was a bit hard to concentrate on the food, but it was all quite unusual and nearly all delicious. The gnocchi dish was especially good, and the lamb. They suggest sharing everything on the menu, which we did. In fact there was far too much food but they happily packed the remnants up as takeaway. And they gave us plates for our own cake for the birthday girl. Yes, definitely recommended. Prices quite high but big serves and extremely family friendly.
Well done. Most enjoyable evening with excellent service and delicious food. Loved the smoked spatchcock and the gnocchi. Good size service. Recommended.
Sensational - service food and atmosphere. Went for dinner Tuesday night and had shared tasting menu. Wow. All dishes were superb, light, delicate and had lots of flavour. Service fantastic with staff being friendly attentive and polite. Will come again.
I'm not a fan of fusion but.... If it's done right and taste great that's all that counts. Went during the period between Xmas and New Years and the place was quiet and may have been operating on skeleton staff. Service was ok, not exceptional but acceptable. Waiter took our empty bottle of water, we ordered a bottle of sparkling water but none came out. Besides that there was no issues. Food. Fusion. Not a fan but the dishes actually tasted good. Chicken wings were nice with a nice papaya salad as the accompaniment. Could've done with more green papaya. Overall ok. Probably nicer venue as a bar for a few drinks and a nibble.
