"Gino has been and currently is one of the greatest Italian restaurants and of course this is the original Ginos which never seems to disappoint. Service is amazing, the atmosphere is cosy and relaxed for a whole family and yes, the portions are so generous, I leave with a doggy bag. The soup starters was really amazing and their pasta are freshly made. The pizzas are a must (especially the Calzone) of course, the desserts are a delight."

"Sets the standard for excellent service. Had breakfast there with the kids, it was full and busy, some issues with an over cooked egg and some missing condiments, nothing too serious. The manager/owner refused to charge me for anything. And the food is great!"

"The food is exceptional!!! I've been to a good many restaurants in the JHB area recently and nothing comes close to the food taste and quality! The staff are we'll trained and extremely helpful and enthusiastic to please! As an end note, the noise level (music) was high and when approached, the Manager was only too pleased to turn it down, something you don't come across every day . Very definitely a place to visit if you are fussy about quality dining, and want to charm your better half or best friends ."

"I met Yianni when he had The Promie Grill Restaurant about 20 years ago. When I learnt he was involved at Fahrenheit in Alberton I knew we would be going there for years to come. This restaurant has had a great turnaround and to see Yianni's passion and friendliness towards his patrons is inspiring. We will continue to support the local establishment. Ps. The kiddies play area is amazing and the child minders are very friendly and caring. Love it ."

"Quaint spot for intimate dining or small groups. I was slightly uncomfortable with the waiter asking for his tip to be paid via ewallet and not with the rest of the bill. I had the pleasure of meeting the head chef, very energetic person. Their bathrooms are clean and use foot sensors at the basin which was lovely to see."

"The ladies are very friendly and I always feel welcomed the only thing about the restaurant is that they don’t have air conditioners so it is extremely hot and the shop has flies due to the flowers outside the shop. The owner must really work on the getting the air conditioners fixed it’s definitely not a conducive environment for the workers when it’s hot. Shout to Linda"

"Went to Aroma for our first time on Saturday evening and were highly impressed by the staff the owner and most of all the food. Absolutely delicious. My wife had the Lamb Vindaloo and I had the Prawn and Fish curry. We will definitely be supporting this restaurant again. Definitely the best curry restaurant around"
