"Avoid this place like the plague. The owner was extremely rude and unpleasant. She made us wait 45 minutes for our food. I normally wouldn't say anything but we had to drive back to San Jose to catch a flight home. We tried to be as polite as possible when we asked for our food but she just kept yelling at us and told us we shouldn't be complaining and the food ended up being awful. The owner really was over the top rude and unpleasant. Samara is a beautiful town filled with extremely nice people. But I would skip this bakery far better choices with good and edible food and better service."

"Now, this place is the heaven for everyone (except red carnivores,) it is absolutely beautiful. when they stay here, they offer a full meal plan that allows them to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner. they offer a large selection of salads and fruits and many vegan products. eating is characterized (see picture) so that they know exactly what they eat. this is not a chic kitchen, it is simple and very tasteful. it feels like homemade eating only for us. They also have a juice and a smoothie bar at the pool. I knew this place would be great, but he's beyond my expectations on all levels."

"I love Root's bakery and all that they offer. I must say one thing though CINNAMON ROLLS!!! They are then best I've ever had and one of those in the morning with a cup of coffee starts out my day right! The staff is super friendly helpful. Great addition to our community. <3"

"Great little place. Very good food and service. Very affordable and good portions for the price. I would recommend and we will be back. I would suggest taking some of the negative reviews with a grain of salt. This is a soda serving comida típica not a 5 star restaurant. You don 't go to a hotdog cart and then complain about the lack of choices of vegetarian options. Manage your expectations and enjoy it for what it, don 't complain about what it is not."
