It's a little dated and more shabby than some of the other Indians close by, but that isn't a negative. It was a little more relaxed as a result. Food was delicious and price was good. The naan was the only thing that just ok as opposed to really good. View all feedback.
What deb d doesn't like about Laguna Tandoori:
Can't fault this place. Popped in without booking on a busy Tuesday evening and were made to feel very welcome. Friendly prompt service and really tasty dishes. Also good value for money. But what stood out was customer service we had a slight error with one main dish. The staff went above and beyond to apologise and make amends. Would definitely return and recommend. Thanks for standing out from the crowds, you have... View all feedback.
This restaurant in Nottingham is known for serving the best Indian food in town. It is one of the oldest and longest-running restaurants, offering a wide selection of classic dishes and chef's specials in a cozy, traditional setting. While it may be a bit more expensive than some other options, the quality of the food makes it worth it for those who appreciate good Indian cuisine. Regular customers have been returning for 20 years, and dishes like the tandoori chicken and lamb are particularly popular for their delicious flavor and tender meat. This is not a place for rowdy drinkers, but rather for those who want to savor the true taste and texture of Indian cuisine.
This Indian restaurant is possibly the best in Nottingham and definitely my current favorite. The service is usually excellent, and the dishes are fantastic and full of flavor. The menu may not be extensive, but there is a wide enough variety to choose from. The portions are very generous, and unlike many other places, they don't skimp on the rice. While it may not be the cheapest option, you definitely get your money's worth here. I highly recommend this restaurant as it outshines most trendy Indian restaurants in the area, and without the pretentious decor.
Good Indian restaurant within 5 minutes walk of Hart's Hotel. Excellent food, friendly staff and clearly very popular with local people even on a Monday evening.
We have dined at this restaurant several times while in Nottingham and have never been let down. The staff is always pleasant and the service is very professional. We highly recommend it.
Just reviewed Desi Downtown and then remembered, how could I forget, The Laguna. This is the first tandoori Indian restaurant I visited when I came to Nottingham a few years back and in my opinion its still one of the best in the city centre. Not big, tucked away off the main drag but the food, atmosphere and above all the service is impeccable. Do the best take away as well and not a lot of people know that!!
