"Very conveniently situated across from the Bonnington Theatre on Arnold High Street with it's large car park and disabled spaces, this modern, clean and comfortable Nepalese restaurant is disabled friendly with separate access, loo, wheelchair space and WiFi too. Our first visit, courtesy of a voucher, was a pleasant one. A warm and friendly welcome, personal service by the owner, freshly prepared and cooked good quality ingredients mixed with subtle spices made for a memorable meal. There were a good number of Gluten free and Dairy free options to cater for all tastes. Portions were satisfying and the plates were hot and clean in this 5 star hygiene rated restaurant."

"I'm really quite excited about the current revolution in food, in particular the fact that really good, artisanal, bread is now being produced in the city (Nottingham), by people with an ethical approach to doing business. In my opinion Tough Mary's currently offer the best bread in the city."

"I ordered the soup of the day, Caesar chicken salad and a can of coke. It all came to £11 and could pay with American express. Though I'm not a fan of croutons, the toast was lovely alongside the leak and potato soup. Whilst I enjoyed the Caesar chicken salad, once the meat had gone, I left the rest. Very reasonable price and will certainly come again when I can. Got to look after these small businesses."

"Absolutely our new 'go to ' for fabulous indian cuisine ... had a fantastic meal last night, the food was just amazing. We have been dining at the other high end Indian restaurant in Nottingham for many years now, but The Maharajs 's Retreat is just steps ahead. Thank you for a lovely evening and we will be returning."

"Really good service, a bit slow but they kept checking in with us which was really nice. They had a big group which would explain why the service might have been a bit slower. The food was superb. Would definitely recommend"

"Latest review: Local pub with good vibes and full of life. Hospitality: 5/5 service was on point with waiting times, and care. Food: 5/5 the food was excellent as always. The vegan ghoats cheese a red onion tart I normally have was great. All our choices were of great quality. All around satifaction Ran out of cheesecakes. But desserts normally are amazing The cheesecakes were.. as I just said Building: 5/5 same amazing design as my last review with a slight added bit of festive spice with I'm into. +1 My dad had the best stake ever. Hats of to the chef. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Recommended dishes: Pudding, Fish and Chips"
