My son and I were able to go out yesterday for lunch at LA Carreras. My first thought when we walked in was, that it was really clean and the aroma was so inviting. I came in to get some horchatas and tacos for my kids on my way out of town. The lady was rude and wouldnt let my daughter use the restroom until i paid for my drinks. Ordered a simple super veggie burrito with both black and refried beans and rice. Repeated my order 3-4 times. Ended up with only black beans and rice ..bummer....

"Lunchette has been here for a couple years. Walked by it a million times too. For some reason nothing ever looked good. Well today we stopped and a few things jumped out at us. I had the tahini bowl. I could eat that every day! It had sweet potatoes, spiced chickpeas, cucumber-dill, carrot salad, spinach, tahini sauce and date molasses. The wife had red curry noodle. While there we saw a fair amount of people getting food grab to go. There’s not tons of seating but 20 people could should be able to fill the place and a few spots outside. Only complaint is they are closed on weekends"
