Driving through Ybor City when we saw this place. Looked like just what we wanted. And, it was. The Apple Pie Late was tremendous. The ambiance is so relaxing. The music was chill!! The barista was very nice, helpful, and made a great coffee!! View all feedback.
What christopher geyer doesn't like about Hotwax Coffee Shop, Kava Tap House:
17$ for two coffees. The cigar store down the street will make you an espresso drink for a 1/4 of the price and it will taste better. I see why they don’t tell you the price when you’re ordering. Or perhaps the guy assumed I wasn’t a local and charged me more. Regardless I highly don’t recommend. 17$ for subpar espresso drinks is ludicrous.
Amazing old school Ybor vibes. Shane is the best. Perfect ADULT friendly environment. Not everywhere has to be for kids
Live music and great Mango beer ?, chill atmosphere.
