This place was lovely. We got the Valentines special of two pastas and a tiramisu for $45. We chose the spaghetti which came with shrimp and the bucatini which was topped with crispy prosciutto. The sauce for the spaghetti was a bit light for my taste but tje shrimp were absolutely delicious. The bucatini wse delicious. As for the tiramsu, it was probably one of the best I've had. What TamiW doesn't like about Vela Italian Tavern:
The menu is outdated. Multiple items listed have not been available for some time. Example, the Spanish brunch on Sundays is non-existent. They do not have Paella and haven 't for a while. The server had limited knowledge as she didn 't work day shift. The food was mediocre at best. Will not be returning. View all feedback.
