this caffe was a pleasant surprise! the coffee was great while the food was delicious and had good portions. the biggest highlight were the super friendly staff who were very courteous and attentive from beginning to end (certainly one of the best service we met in nsw). will definitely come back when we visit the opposite. What User doesn't like about The General Cafe:
The hostess came across as very rude. After ignoring us for 10 mins she informed us that we could get a table in 20 mins when there were many free tables available. When challenged, she said the Chef wouldn't allow. Sounded like double standards to me. Wouldnt go back there. View all feedback.
