I decided to try this place because it was right across from the fantastic art museum, which was open in the evening after I arrived. The food was so good and the staff so friendly that I ate every other meal here during my two days in Nurnberg. Wonderful food and very reasonable as well. Dropdown only lets me choose dinner, but they serve lunch as well, and I think stay open until at least 10 pm. View all feedback.
What Ibrahim Burger doesn't like about Bocksbeutelstuben:
average courts and service. the place is very beautiful, especially in open part, inviting atmosphere, very normal eating. reasonable prices for the served meals. View all feedback.
The food is average here. I guess I am comparing the Bavarian, food I had in Munich. The prices are a bit too much. But for sure you can go and try this restaurant out.
We went to this place for dinner. It's very nice and intimate, compared to many similar places in Nuremberg. Also, it's in a great location. The food is Bavarian, of average quality (which I think it's actually typical quality, as it seems like that in almost every other restaurant of the same kind). The meat was overdone at best: the rump-steak was so cooked it was almost like a shoe. The weinerschnitzel wasn't bad but well... how can it be bad? Service was somehow bizarre in the sense that they only had 2 soups left (and we were 8, pre-booked), they were out of fries and didn't have dessert for everybody!! Beer was good. At 35 € per person it looked a bit pricey.

To strengthen us before an evening event in the Germanic National Museum, we were happy to find this locally at the way from the subway.Trotz Christmasly filled locally in the early evening, has found himself a place. very good beer, skillfully tapped, the bratwürstl highly recommended, also the crispy panned carving was good. The service was very friendly, the prices moderate.Nothing to stop us will come by.
In our company we call this restaurant babuschki. most likely because of the atmosphere of ease and homemade dishes. each of us has favorite dishes we order, but every year we try to try something new. the variety of the menu will offer us many years of such an opportunity. the meat is great, the sausages are probably the best of the city, the beer is yes, the wee is a great selection of giants that desserts are one. And it doesn't matter that not all waiters speak English, we have always found a common language. it is important that they are always welcome and served with a smile,
