I have eaten here year after year whenever I visted NGU, my host university. There's a reason officials like to take guests to Schupfnudel because it's a high-quality authentic Swabian restaurant--as can be expected heavy on meat, sauces, and Swabian pasta dishes, spaetzle and maultaschen. What Annelie John doesn't like about Schupfnudl:
good service, pleasant ambiente, long waiting times, adult eating so the short summary. in total approx. 90 min waiting for a suppe and a main dish is extremely long. the suppers were extremely tasty and made hope for more. unfortunately unfounded. the main foods were only cold and had to be partially warmed up. it was tasteful then on average. so a lot of upswing, little success.
