During my time in Vals I have had the pleasure of dining at Ganni several times and have been extremely satisfied each time. The owners are extremely friendly and open-minded, which makes the overall experience even more pleasant. The picturesque location of the restaurant also adds to the atmosphere while enjoying the tasty dishes. I look forward to returning there when the opportunity arises. "Our final night in Switzerland thought we would have Fondue. Two types on the menu but only one available and that turned out to be 27 Francs each. The first place we have been to where we were charged for water and they had bottled it themselves with a label 7 Swiss Francs! The service was ordinary and the place was overpriced."

"We had taken off from the top of the gondola for a leisurely winter hike to the Zervreila lake when almost there a sudden snow storm enveloped is. And there it was, the Restaurant offering a warm seat, a Cafe Luz (that’s coffee with Schnaps) and their house specialty the delicious Blueberry torte. What a magical place in the winter wonderland. And the shuttle back down to Vals was nice too. With a bit more snow there are sleds for rent; but best in the summer are the scooters to biz down... thanks"

"We have waited to cross the border and have a real italian food. Unfortunately the tables were only available for short waiter 's friends. We were told that there is no table available and after few minutes he found a table for others. Finally we had very average take away pizza outside the restaurant. The other waiters were surprised of his attitude. Looks like he feels he is a boss . Disappointing that person like him is tolerated by the owner. Be aware of this place. The don 't like tourists. The view is very nice. Nothing else."

"It is not from the outside, but when we arrived there, the place was packed with locals, so we sat outside with more locals, the charming lady told us what the locality was in Italian, not understood a word, but we...sayed va bene and it very nice a kind of mini dumping with local melted to top tasty, followed by a roar lamb tender and not so amazing,"
