The Anchor Inn - Nuneaton

Stayed here in the motor home. Staff very friendly and the food was fantastic. Landlord was a gentleman who made time for everyone. Barmaid Amy was lovely.

The most beautiful house cooked food my husband and I had very welcome home for an evening meal.superb.great staff. Thank you to the cook for his food we will be back soon.

Where do I start? I went to Anchor Inn 4 years ago, and it was so good that I didn't go back until today. Good news, the dogs and the smell are gone. From the outside it looks like nothing changed. You go up the stairs from the parking lot, and you notice that the dog smell is gone. If you go left into the restaurant bar. You see the difference. (It's a work in progress) Beautifully arranged tables, look clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The menu is small but well thought out. It is not overpriced for the quality of food. There is also a special board. I had Steak Stilton cakes, chips and peas. It costs less than 10 pounds. As you can see on the photo, the food looks fantastic. I can taste the taste. The Anchor Inn has now become Nuneaton's little secret. There is no new information here. The only way to find out is to go there. I'm going back now.

Wow! Came in for a family meal on a midweek evening. We ordered an array of meals from fish and chips to mussels. The portion sizes were massive and we couldn’t finish everything but it was so nice! It was freshly made and had so much flavour. I had the pork belly which was delicious and I would highly recommend it! We got the bill for the 5 of us came to £101 and we all had 2 drinks each. We had to double check the bill to make sure that we hadn’t been undercharged! What a bargain!! We will definitely return

Came here last minute on an overnight camper night stay as we had tickets to watch The Smyth's (Smith's tribute band) in Nuneaton. From the moment we set foot in the place, we were made to feel so welcome and that nothing was too much trouble even though they were running a skeleton staff as the owner was poorly (get well soon boss! your staff are utterly amazing and doing a great job). Lewis/Louis/Luis who was running the show, great background music, great service and great energy and many thanks to Lily and the other member of staff, sorry forgot her name, who made our stay so brilliant, thanks! I have recommended you on a camper van site so I hope you'll get loads of business! The food was good and portion sizes huge!
