"Back in november a colleague of mine proposed the tavernetta marinella as an alternative opportunity to eat and enjoy the atmosphere when they go for a meal. he knew I had a “seafood” lover, but he wanted to challenge me. by writing this restaurant to me, hidden between bergen in a small village called S.Michele di serino. I knew as soon as I arrived with my wife that we wanted to experience something different, because the place is not on the sea side and therefore a bit far from seafood. I can tell them straight, we were amazed at the look of the restaurant, classic of their part of the world and so warm and welcoming. there was no minute without asking if we were okay and happy. we had lucky enough to let the owner in person herr giovanni romano, who as a hand in hand on a journey in a world of amazing food exhaustions never experienced before and trust me, I was around!!!! there was nothing that gave me the opportunity to think about his fragrant and maybe leave him on the side. it was the most amazing thing I ever had. giovanni gave us a damn culinary master class and we were absolutely less talking. it is now years ago and tavernetta marinella remains my favorite restaurant and a “must go” every time I am around the part of the world that now belongs as wel stani and stephanie visciano."
