What Hugues Petit likes about Café Du Marché:
The chef/owner graciously came out to help us translate the menu (oh Americans..). We selected 3 items to share and loved them all. The aparatif of cold potato leak soup was Devine, the Mackerel bruschetta we devoured (I've never had anything like it, so so good). We ordered simple mains and a dessert both meals too small, a bit boring and probably overpriced. It seemed many meals on adjacent tables were served with those potato fries that come in massive frozen bags. Very poor. Dessert was one fig and one boule de glace for 16chf. Service was nice and friendly, good ambience. Just average food and too pricey for what is served. View all feedback.
