Waitress told us the entire Oak Bay Beach Hotel was reno'd about 5 years back, and it shows. Beautiful outside and in. Snug Pub is homey, and the views from the windows (or always crowded deck) are just outstanding. The Tikka Chicken is highly recommended. Also, the hotel/pub are situated in a beautiful neighborhood, in case you want to take a walk before/after read more.

Snug was always one of our faves. The old and the new. The food was always excellent “Pub” foods with fresh ingredients and good value. Honestly, was not in 4 or 5 months and was absolutely shocked to the limited new menu options...and ridiculous prices. I had the steak (8oz) and pommes.
