Stopped by here on our way home up the coast and we loved it. Plenty of great food and portions. The waitress was very nice. It was Sunday right around the church crowd time and there was plenty of room. We will be back. View all feedback.
Normally I like it here. The food is good. The prices are pretty reasonable and we were seated pretty quickly for being busy.Today was weird. They were busy and full so I let it go when the server rushed to get our drink order. She wasn't very pleasant but not meanor nasty. Just neutralish bc in a rush. Forgiven for that one, I get it. For real, I do not hold that against at all.But...when she came back and asked if we were ready, we all weren't. 2 of 3 of us. We weren't even seated 5 minutes. We sat, she was on it for drinks and then came back quickly which is awesome and a rating of 5.But when we were asked if we were ready and weren't, we were told they are rushed to get orders in on a timeframe because they're busy... uh so I don't get time to look at menu? If it was more than 5 or 10 minutes of being seated, fine. But you're trying to rush us to decisions as well as get us out. Again fine, but I don't think I'll be back because I will not be able to enjoy my meal due to the fact I feel like I am hindering someone. I'd rather go where I feel welcome. I came to breakfast to relax and enjoy a meal... do not feel relaxed at all and haven't even gotten my food yet.I feel more comfortable and welcome at the restaurant my ex boyfriend and estranged family work at..Well. Haven't finished the review and our server got in her car and left... maybe that explains it....Another server tried to explain and was nice so I upped back to 4 from 3. Our server came back and she was calmer so ill chalk it up to busy chaos and just presenting a little rough
Haven't been there in a few years but probably wouldn't go back.
Potatoe soup was very bland. Brown gravy was too salty. Meatloaf was pack heavy and bland. Waitress was extremely friendly.

Great place for breakfast. Their bread is 100% on point!!! They make grits well, very mom pop. It is a wonderful find!!
