One of the only places on Oak Island that has good vegan options, and they are clearly identified as vegan, not vegetarian, which is rare. The owners of this restaurant also own Cafe Koa and Kai Joes, which are also great, but Koko Cabana 100% has the best vegan options from the three. The vegan dishes are tasteful and it shows that they put thoughts in the ingredients selection. View all feedback.

Ordered take-out from here helpful that they have several vegan options on the menu! I ordered the cauliflower steak and was a little disappointed (may have been softer and more tasteful), but others in my group enjoyed the veggie burgers and island bowl. View all feedback.
The food is amazing and deserves 5 stars for sure! The customer service was excellent as well. The only thing lacking is the “cocktails”…definitely just tasted like mixed drinks you would attempt to make at home…they are missing the mark there. Stick to whatever they have on draft. The island bowl with grilled mahi was the best dish I’ve had in quite some time!
We parked planning to go for lunch but when we logged into the parking meter the only choice was $20 for all day. My husband went inside to inquire if there was any hourly parking and they were completely unhelpful. Apparently they get enough walk-in business from the beach that it doesn't matter to them what's going on with the parking spaces outside their door. We ate there a while back, you're paying for the view.
This evening was just special ordering out and sitting on the beach. The girl who took the order, Carly, was extremely friendly and very helpful while placing the phone order. Try the island shrimp bowl and the coconut shrimp appetizer! They both were amazing! If I could give 10 stars, I would! Their food is excellent as well as the service and awesome ocean scenery! Thank you Koko Cabana for a great night! ?
Super fast and delicious food. The fish boy was amazing, and man did it pack a punch! Little spice to it will make you sweat if you aren’t already from the sun!
Delicious dining by the water. Ordered the lavender martini, key lime martini, fried oysters, and scallops. Everything was incredible, the view outside was remarkable, and staff was very friendly. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Oak Island. We walked on the pier afterwards and enjoyed the sunset. Loved it!
