Very weird atmosphere. Almost like a dive bar, but the food and menu options were outstanding! Definitely has become our new family gathering place!

"Teresa took amazing care of me. As an out of Towner I asked for her recommendations and all were perfect! The wings and brisket burger were amazing and best I dipped everything in the amazing pepper jelly sauce that the wings came in! I could just sit there and eat the fries and pepper jelly sauce. You have to go and check this please out, it’s worth a short drive from Knoxville! Meal type: Lunch"

"The opportunity to find gluten free AND vegan goodies are rare, and this place didn't disappoint! I had a pizza roll (a savory version of a cinnamon roll imo) and a raspberry scone, both vegan. I'd suggest to get there earlier in the day to have more options if you are also vegan! They do well at labeling their items (dairy free, gluten free, paleo, etc). My friend had their mock chicken salad and loved it as well! I'll be back for sure if I'm ever in the area again."

"We have enjoyed eating at Dean's. They always have a variety of dishes available for all tastes. We love the catfish, the mac and cheese, and banana pudding!! Very appreciative that they have a number of gluten-free items on their menu (a whole separate page). I wish they had sweet tea that was not made with orange juice (my only complaint)!"

"This is a delightful place. You can feel the history and a family coziness (wotha bit of bar atmosphere thrown in) as soon as you walk in the door. There is parking available across the street. There are tables, but a large group would have problemsfinding a space. Word to the wise, be prepared to wait. You pick your own seat and someone will come take your order. Just likeevery other restaurant, they are struggling to find people to help wait tables. I ordered a large ham and jalapeño pizza. Itis good pizza, but by no means the best I've ever had. The crust is perfectly crispy, but the flavors are a bit bland in myopinion."
