While some reviewers found the portion sizes to be smaller compared to other Ethiopian restaurants, they were impressed by the quality of the food. The sambussa and mushroom tibs were particularly popular choices. The restaurant has a nice environment, with beautiful decorations that transport diners to a traditional coffee ceremony scene. The staff is friendly and attentive, making for a pleasant dining experience. The menu offers a wide selection of vegan and vegetarian options, making it a great choice for those looking to try something different from the usual continental fare. Whether you're a first-timer to Ethiopian cuisine or a seasoned pro, this restaurant is sure to impress with its flavorful dishes and inviting atmosphere.
Local restaurant. we always get the veggie combo, which is fully vegan and it is an amazing amount of food and aromas. perfect for groups or a date night. I always bring non-vegan friends and just order the big veggie combo and they don't even notice the difference!
Many vegan options. there as a party of 4 and the server was very helpful to get us there most food and variety for our money. we did two portions of the two veg players who got us decent sizes of any vegan options they had next to the mushroom, which was good for us. also the service was excellent. will eat here definitiw again.
I love Ethiopian food and try to eat at various Ethiopian places in the bay to compare. this place is the best! great vegan selection (as many Ethiopian places have) my go-to is messir wot (spicy lentils) with injera. my mouth wateres the critique. so delicious!
My family ordered the veggie combo for 4. pretty standard Ethiopian farewell. very tasty and filling.
This is my favorite Ethiopian restaurant for vegan food in the entire Bay Area. Everything is perfect every time.
