No nonsense cafe. Find a spot and sit the heck down. If you are in Oakland in the morning, make time to get you a great and cost effective breakfast at Fong's. That place is an instatution. I'd suggest calling in a to go order, but its way worth sitting down and enjoying a cup of coffee there. Sit on the far left of the counter if you want to eat your eggs below two ledgends. Portions down. Felt played. Been eating at fongs for about 11 years off and on. Hadn't been there in a couple of years. Ordered the kitchen sink with grits like always. Got home and was wondering where the rest of my breakfast was. 80% grits 20% kitchen sink! View all feedback.
