this is a neighborhood recreation for us. heard it closed on 4/14 and reopen among the same owners with another name and menu. we wanted to try it one last time. the food was so delicious. View all feedback.

What User doesn't like about Michel:
the restaurant was overpriced for what we have. Mustels were very uninteresting. eating was just okay. the ambiente was quite casual for the prices. I wouldn't recommend it. View all feedback.

"I had a falafel wrap. The 1st bite was a bit dry. When I got to the 3rd bite, I was in the land of bliss. The ingredients were fresh and colourful. The flavour and crunchiness danced in my mouth until my last bite. I'll try the falafel pita next time. This place is #1.Vegetarian options: The falafel is great."

"It was 90°F the day I went so this was perfect. The employees had a lot of patience with everyone wanting to try so many flavors. They had the most unusual I've encountered: asparagus; tasted just like asparagus if you're into it. I'd come back to see what they'll offer next."

"Things to order: Tea leaf salad (no shrimp), rainbow salad (no shrimp), the best soup on earth, the samusa soup and the coconut rice. I dream of these items often because I moved down to LA and away from my favorite stuff. It's not a vegetarian or vegan restaurant, which is unfortunate, but probably why I've been so many times. It's a place that all my friends and family enjoy going to because we can get veggie and non-veggie food, which is what happens in real life. Not everyone is down to go to vegan restaurants (their loss). Yes, the wait is crumby. Go down to Lane Splitters and get a pint while you wait. It's worth it!!"
