"Husband thinks he was over charged, never the less the meals were amazingly delicious, friendly staff and great ambience. Would highly recommend. However, if a large group it would definitely pay to book a table, they were very busy."

"We were appreciated the male staff who really concern about the hygiene. He wiped the door handle, window and sauce area. Beside, they make their own Thai's drinks with a special price. Also, range of sauces that's you can choose with your meals. I love my Chicken Pad Thai, love this great restaurant. Thank you."

"Wow!! What a dinner!! The food was amazing! We had the seafood chowder, blue cod and bacon and my favourite.. the best Polenta chips ever. I would recommend Portside to anyone living or visiting Oamaru."

"This is only one coffee shop opened in the early Sunday morning near Brydone Hotel. We want to try something different and apparently it was a good choice. Benedict egg muffin is nice and my daughter was happy for her free fluffy and cake"
