"The kitchen is incredible and the service friendly and welcoming. It is great to see the owners and the whole family work in the restaurant, which gives everything this warm and at home feeling. The restaurant certainly empraces vegetarians and vegans and offers thoughtfull plant-based options that really tickle your tounge. You can even enjoy full on vegan 5 course menus in the most romantic garden restaurnat I 've ever been at. Seeing that they only use glas straws, reusable napkins, focus on local and bio ingredients and even have an electric car charge at site made me feel that the venue cares about environmental issues and local support. I highly recommend a visit. Especially for a glace into the beautiful town of Gengenbach."

"The room was very spacious and clean. Although there was a gathering/celebration going on downstairs, we didn't hear anything at all. The breakfast and the dinner were of high quality and delicious. It's worth to stop by and simply have a meal there! (The road to the hotel must be incredibly scenic in spring because of those cherry and apple orchards along the road, and black forest in the background! Efficient and friendly staff :"
