"The hotel restaurant is clearly popular with other than hotel guests so be sure to book a table in peak season and for a good meal with a couple of glasses of wine expect to pay circa Euros a head. The three course tariff...at euros is good value as there is basically a choice of anything off the menu with a few extra costs for the more expensive dishes. Steaks are thick, large and extremely tender and tasty. My wife loved the calves liver whilst the Black Forest Parfait with kirsch soaked morello cherries made me very happy. Service was good, some nice little touches but why they did not first offer us a drink when we sat at the table before ordering food was a mystery to me. On the third occasion we dined there they actually did so! ]As it was warm the staff were keen to offer seating in the pleasant garden so make sure you wear insect repellent if you accept the offer as I did not and paid the price! Finally if staying for longer than a few days then the menu might feel a little repetitive, nice little touches such as amuse bouche' and main course covers being lifted simultaneously so it is clear the owner is keen to lift the standard and it is against the standard of a top quality restaurant I rate the establishment."

"Yesterday evening after the wine carnival tour, to eat something. I can only recommend the old Zunft to anyone! Super great food and super friendly staff (this is unfortunately not self-evident today). 100% more recommended! We will definitely see each other again!!!!"

"Finally, over 4 years have been a guest. The kitchen has once again developed into the unique quality and the perfect craftsmanship. Every dish was just a dream. What amazes me at the time, like today, are the portion sizes and arrangements. Simply appealing dishes, in which one directly runs the water together in the mouth, and in the end one would prefer to pick the plate. Artworks that only look good but do not taste here. The service team is simply indescribable friendly, easy and totally professional, you can fulfill every wish, both at food and drinks. As a young person, I feel totally comfortable here. The new building is quite modern, the guest room has a great window front and also the high ceiling I like better than in the pictures. With regard to the floor, I have to join my previous speakers, who makes the room simply inconceivably cool and from the “room” rather a uncomfortable room. In addition, I was sorry for the couple, which had the table at the front of the door, so you're sitting on the hallway. I think it's great that you've dared something new, but for me with my 28 years it's a little bit beyond it. Conclusion: Gastronomic still the absolute benchmark in Germany"
