"Best oyster and crawfish Po Boy I've had anywhere! After leaving Coushatta my husband and I were hungry and this was one of the few places open after 9pm. On a whim we thought why not? You order at the counter and they bring you your food. Prices were very reasonable. $12 for a crawfish or oyster Po Boy is a bargain especially after New Orleans prices. Each sandwich comes with a side of fries. They accidentally brought my husband a fried shrimp Po boy instead of the crawfish one he ordered. In return they told him to enjoy the shrimp one and at the end brought him his crawfish Po boy wrapped up to go. Very nice folks working here. You can tell they care about their customers. And the sandwiches? Delicious and overflowing with shrimp/crawfish/oysters. Bread was firm yet soft with that slight crisp on the outside. Fausto's will be a stop on every trip to Coushatta from here on out!"

"You know what?s funny about this place is the food isn?t BAD! The fried pickles was decent, the charbroiled oysters was pretty good, and I actually liked the salad I ordered. Here?s what ruined it for me, the food took SOO long to arrive. I ordered a shrimp salad, and found several pieces of chicken in it (this might not be a big deal to some people, however, since I don?t eat meat, this is kind of a biggie), after addressing this with the waitress, all she said was ?okay?. We had another person in our party showed up late, ordered the same salad.. this time her salad was missing avocado entirely. So when we asked them for it.. see below the avocado they brought out. The service was disappointing. I understand that there aren?t very many options in Kinder but they could?ve tried a little bit harder, after all, you are in the service industry."

"Subway is always amazing food wise! We absolutely love their sandwiches but at this location the customer service is terrible! When I asked about a coupon on the app I was told you have to place a mobile order to use it. When told that the app is down Iwas then told ?that?s not our fault and we can?t do anything about that?. And addressed in such a rude manor! Obviously I don?tcare about using the coupon at this point but at least apologize and say you will check into it! The app is always down btw. Andas we sit down to eat our lunch she goes out of her way to be nice to the men."

"Came here for my wife?s birthday because we heard from a friend the steaks are good. A little pricey, but completely worth it. The steaks were fantastic, some of the best we?ve had. The side portions are fairly large. We traveled over an hour to come hereand will definitely be back!"

"I love Coushatta bc it is clean and you grind some comp Points so easy. I can play, win or lose and quite a lot can guarantee enough to eat on the grill that remains open until 3:00. Great fish basket, too."

"This place has it all and definitely is the go to spot in the small town of Basile. This establishment draws a diverse crowd from local residents, numerous law enforcement agencies from sheriffs department, local police and homeland security personnel. This business is a mix of loading up on your meats for a nice home cook meal or bbq as well as the hot dishes that they make. The appetizer hot food include many budohn creations as well as the occasional breakfast sandwiches. The daily lunch specials are valid and should be purchased on a daily basis. The mid week bbq half chicken plate is heavy, flavorful and reasonably priced. The whole plate is only $13. If only we had a place like this back in New York. Highly recommend to all that are passing through town of Basile. However, please put your order in advance because they will sell out quickly."
