"My husband and I visited today and just loved the garden. The work to involved in establishing the gardens is astonishing. We intend to revisit and experience each season as we already know we'll enjoy something completely different with the change of seasons. Our lunch in the cafe was fabulous. I'm coeliac and the waitress was very helpful in directing me to a generous no of gf options on the menu. I chose the roasted chestnut soup with truffle cream and pecorino gf toast and my husband had the grazing plate. Both meals were delicious and served promptly. Congratulations on absolutely everything."

"We have called in a few times for lunch while horse-riding. The hotel interior seemed small but there is a large covered outdoor area with tables & benches for dining. There were two young and talented singers performing while we were there.The food was tasty & imaginative with good but not overwhelming selections that also included old pub favourites; all served at modest prices."

"Absolutely love this place! The food is amazing and fresh! I always get their Chicken Pad Thai and honestly couldn't fault it. The place is very clean, very warm in the winter months, offers great musical entertainment as well. Can be long wait times due to their popularity in town, but the food is worth the wait."
