"Wir waren auf der Suche nach kulinarischem Neuland in Oberstaufen und Umgebung und stießen auf diesen Geheimtipp. Ob im Freien oder drinnen der modern-rustikale Charme des Hauses lädt sofort ein zum Abschalten und Wohlfühlen. Der Service ist herzlich und immer sehr zuvorkommend. Die Speisen waren auf dem höchsten Niveau welches man in der Region finden kann... sehr fantasiereich, gekonnt zusammen gestellt und geschmackvoll. Für uns war es ein wirklich besonders schöner Abend und wir kommen gern wieder!"

"We ate here on one evening and one lunchtime whilst staying in the Hirsch Hotel which is almost a separate business in that meals in the Stuberl are not as far as we know chargeable to your hotel account. However since our last visit one...innovation is that they accept credit cards for payment rather than being cash only.Incredible value set menu with courses at e inc, soup or courses for Great portions and the Spaghetti Bolognese was pronounced as one of the best by our daughter.Large Radler priced at Cola light at and excellent Festbier at Kugels of eis amounted to and with one Latte cKaffee the bill came to before delightful service from one English speaking waitress"

"We found this place by chance once in search of a trip near Lindau. We loved the decoration and the relaxing atmosphere of the hostel. It seems as coming locals with children during the day and enjoy the beautiful garden of the hostel and many young locals come in the night for the cool atmosphere and good drinks. The hostel rooms are on the 3rd floor so it is not too loud in the rooms while there are noisy music on the ground floor. The burgers and the Meze plates are really delicious. Fatih is a great host, we felt like at home, had all the flexibility of playing wii, prepare breakfast or make our own drinks in the kitchen and relax in the living room. We were there in the spring, but this place would be great even during the ski season."

"Sehr freundliches Personal in einem sehr typisch eingerichteten Gasthof mit sehr schmackhaften Essen zu sehr angemessenen Preisen . es wurde sehr zügig bedient freundlich und hilfsbereit und das Essen wurde auch in einer angemessen Zeit frisch serviert. Die Salate waren sehr schmackhaft auch die typische Landeskost. Wir waren zweimal Essen und würden es auch wiederholen."

"Globus is a little out of place in Oberstaufen, but it's actually a fantastic place to have a feed and a few beers.The decor isn't the most traditional in Oberstaufen, but don't let that fool you; there is still some beautiful Allgäu specialities on the menu, many with a modern twist. Once you've done the traditional thing, it's worth checking out.It's reasonable value for money as well (given how tasty the food is), and they have Sky and a big screen if you're into watching the football. Very much recommended ... and try the cheese schnitzel."
