There are two on the boardwalk and I think the Blue Cactus where we ate was actually the one at 986 Boardwalk. But only this one is on Trip Advisor….hoping same owner…our experience was pretty good. The server was nice and the food was fresh. It was a little pricey for the small portions though. Teenagers were still hungry and even I had no problem finishing and having room for dessert. read more.

NOT ENOUGH MEAT! Ordered a rice bowl for $16 and added chicken to it for an extra $6. Bowl was extremely small with very little chicken. The taco we bought was much better than the bowl. For a total of $29 I felt like I ate half a meal. Would've been better off with pizza. read more.

"I yelped to find a place near my job bc I wanted tacos for Taco Tuesday. Well, Taqueria Rendon was at the top of the list based on the reviews I read. So, I decided to give it a try. This place is located in a strip mall, but the color of the sign helped me find it easily. I walked in and was immediately greeted by a young woman who offered menus and a table near the window. I had already perused the menu online. Thus, I had a good idea of what I wanted to order. I decided to try the Elotes, Birra Quesadilla and rice with beans as my sides. My partner had a chicken and cheese quesadilla. My elotes arrived quickly. It was tasty. I would have liked to have more chili powder and cojita cheese. However, the corn itself was great. Our quesadillas arrived. When I tell you my Birra Quesadilla was enough for 2 people, I mean it. It was cut into 3s and I was only able to eat 1 piece. The Birra was overflowing and so flavorful. The rice and beans were good sides, but the Birra Quesadilla was definitely the highlight of my meal. I was so happy to have leftovers for the next day. My partner enjoyed his chicken quesadilla. He asked if we could return to Taqueria Rendon soon, so he could have another one. Needless to say, we will return to try more of delicious food at this place."

"Great customer service backed by excellent food. I was greeted warmly, almost as if I were family, and witnessed staff respectfully and patiently help an elderly woman. The lady had a million questions and then bought one cookie or something. I ordered the margherita pizza, the real deal Italian and four arancinis. The food was delicious. The next time I 'm back in Ocean City I will make a point of returning."
