"The 2 piece chicken combo has a picture of a leg and thigh. When selected you dont get an option of any other type of chicken, yet my order came with breast and wing. Either change the picture or give an option. The chicken sandwich was okay though. Bread was stale though."

"Anyone familiar with OCMD know that there is a serious lack of fine restaurants. The ones I can name are off island in west OC or Bishopville. IDK why but the Hobbit has flown below our radar for 30+ years. Hobbit bills itself as a fine dining restaurant and it lives up to it. Wonderful atmosphere and views with fantastic service. Taylor, our server, was attentive and friendly but not overly so. Just perfect. The menu wasn’t overly large and seemed to focus on doing a dozen dishes to perfection over 100 dishes mediocre. The wine menu was comprehensive and reasonably priced. As I’m enjoying my leftovers for lunch I realized that I forgot the most important part of the review; the food. Wonderful. The chef created a truly unique and delicious experience. I had the veal pistachio and loved it. My wife had the macadamia encrusted salmon and unfortunately none made it to being leftover for lunch today. From the Duck cigars to the mushroom salad to the entrees everything was delicious. Definitely a great place for a nice dinner or a special occasion. Definitely need a reservation. Definitely will come back."

"GREAT breakfast, super friendly staff. The Maryland Benedict had huge chunks of real crab, and the Strawberry Stuffed French Toast special was heavenly! Highly recommend!!"
