"In the city for a few days, definitiw one of the best places to eat in long beach! had no reservation(yet not) but was right. We wish to sit on the terrace (we need to choose where we sat) as it was a nice day, but now we know the next time! big beer on hahn. we had a different frying sandwich, both were delicious. recommend their horses sauce and roast beef/prime rib everything!"

"It was one of a few dinner places open after 7 on a Saturday evening it didn?t disappoint. Seating options are well proportioned for the space applicable?You walk in go to the counter in the back get directed where to sit?The waiter was onhis own but he was wonderful. Order was taken just as quick delivered. I?ve tried a lot of chowder places up down thepeninsula this is my favorite because it?s so thick filling. Their ?sizes? of bowls is crazy small was enough more tobring some home. Garlic toast was perfectly toasted garlic was well proportioned. Of course couldn?t ?not? do oyster shooters.Drink options were available to grab on our own soda (Pepsi) beer options aplenty. The halibut was thick flakey w/crispbatter covering. The fries were also seasoned well. The cubano had great presentation flavor as well. Overall super impressed,well priced from what is said and what I?ve heard from other dinners is true. Highly recommend stopping by."

"First time trying this place and it was great. Staff was friendly. Food was good. The drinks were good. The place has a great atmosphere. Great decor. Has a family section and a bar area. The restroom was very clean and wheelchair accessible. They also have a family restroom which is great for people with kids. Ample parking. Located right on the main street into Long Beach. We went on a busy Saturday and they warned us they were a little short staffed, but they did great. Will definitely eat here again next time I'm in Long Beach!"

"One of the most spectacular and magnificent meals I’ve ever eaten; and, that is not said lightly. The staff are wonderful, personable and add to the atmosphere of this quirky and tiny gem. You need reservations or you won’t get in. But when you do you will want to thank me. I’d probably make the drive from an hour and a half a way monthly if I lived that close. It was that good."
