Chin's Gourmet - Oceanside-Escondido

Adding this as one of our favorites. The hot n sour soup was actually HOT and the atmosphere was soothing. We LOVE soup dumplings and these are some of the best. Also a favorite are the braised string beans tossed with ground pork with a tender yet snap consistency. What D'Anne Kiley doesn't like about Chin's Gourmet:
This restaurant is very expensive for the quality of food. On Wednesday night, I bought three items and the total was $50. That wouldn't have been a problem, but when I got home, the Ma La Three Flavor entree was old, not saucy and delicious like usual. I wish this place would learn that passing old food to a to-go customer ensures that the customer won't return. It never ends up saving the restaurant money. View all feedback.
