Perfect plan for a weekend. Delicious food with an amazing view of the forest or the indoor space with a fireplace. Cabaña la Amistad is the place to try some Cecina adobada tacos (is not spicy) with avocado on a blue corn tortilla. Be carefull with the salsa, is really spicy. "This restaurant has been around for ages, the place is beautiful, full of history, and everything is cooked to perfectly. The garden is just amazing, the restaurant is English style, very formal and elegant! Let me begin by saying that my wife was born and raised in Jerusalem, Israel and over the past fifty years during visits too numerous to count we have eaten falafel all over the country. Let me also say that while enjoying any food is a matter of taste, we know good falafel when we eat it, and the falafel at this Mexico City restaurant was very good, the portions were generous, the pita fresh, and the prices no more expensive than what you might find in Israel. A very pleasant surprise to eat Israel’s national dish in a place so far from home. I would bet that you’d have to travel to Israel to find better."
