"What a fabulous place to have dinner. My extended family from North Carolina and Ohio visited Ocracoke from our beach rental in Avon. We were hangry from a long wait and ferry ride. Our waitress and restaurant owner immediately accommodated our huge party of 14 as they opened at 3pm. Our waitress was so thoughtful, funny and pleasant during our dinner. She handled all of our needs from ages 4 to 80 including 2 special needs children. The food was delicious and locally sourced. The wings appetizer was just huge and the other entrees and soup were delightful. I will definitely return to this great establishment if I find myself back in Ocracoke."

"My favorite place to get tacos in the world. Love the staff, the location, the SALSA. I could eat here every single day and not get tired of it. Be sure to visit the gift shop. They have really cool stickers and coozies."

"They were very accommodating to our large (grumpy) party. We just got off an hour long ferry ride and he knew. They were quick even as they got busier. They had a lot to choose from. Pizza, wings, seafood, sushi, salads, etc....."

"We were enjoying a long weekend in Ocracoke and had dinner here Saturday evening. The service was superior and I would like to give accolades to Daniel our server for the excellent job he did. He is a nice young man. The food was excellent. We had the blackened sheepshead and Yellow Fin Tuna with Oysters Bienville for an appetizer. I wanted to try the Key Lime Pie (which looks absolutely amazing) but just did not have room for it. Thank you to the Flying Melon and to Daniel for a most memorable evening."
