"We had a really great experience at Avenew on a quiet Tuesday night. Our hosts were personable and helped make for a memorable evening. We started by splitting the octopus salad. It was wonderful with a glass of a local rose. My wife had the cod with the rose and I had the duck with a really nice red blend. Both of us were quite happy with these (as well as tastes of each other’s main). Dessert with a port was also great. We’ll be happy to come back again!"

"If they are looking for a delicious lunch place near barrio alto for something light or something fill, they do not see further! we had the luck to sit in this original place at midday, eating was simply absolutely sublime! if they were looking for the best seasoned and tasted octopus (pulvo) in lissabon, don't look further! please check this place if they get a chance! also the personal was very friendly."

"Hands down the best vegan ice cream I’ve ever had and I have traveled a lot and eaten lots of vegan ice cream! The flavours are out of this world! You can see they are passionate about this and boy am I glad lol. Try the ice cream doughnut omg! Try their doughnuts! Hell try it all! We over two days have tried a few doughnuts and lots of ice cream! My favourite was the coconut lemon and blueberry I could eat that ice cream all day long! I just these guys did it in the UK but I’ll just have to come back to Lisbon again in stead!"
