When did this last happened to you?The restaurant is located up a side street just off the main street, which runs along the Rhine River. We were actually looking for a German restaurant when we found this one. We were on a Rhine River Cruise and were docked not far away. Because a very heavy rain had flooded much of Rudesheim, many stores and restaurants had simply closed.Ristorante Pizzeria La Romantica was a surprise find while we were wandering around Rudesheim looking for the German restaurant. After looking at the restaurant menu, as we always do, my wife and I decided we had found our dining spot for the evening. And . . . what a special find it was. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was very warm warm and helpful.
