"I come here once a year, sometime twice a year since decades, with my parents, with my wife, with my friends, with my kids, also as they were young. It is always a great pleasure to re discover classical dishes you had sole aux cepes,...pata negra, souffle grand marnier, etc.. so many standard things you eat once a year. Trust the wine steward sommelier for every recommandation. He knows what you need and is not looking for optimizing directly and short terms the profit of this restaurant. No clue how you call it in English but the responsable de salle is one of the brothers driving this restaurant, the other driving the kitchen, is always like the whole team friendly and especially not over polite or over precious or any other over something, just really good. One of my favorite: a lot a young waiter, learning their jobs, are also participating to this event. It is really captivating to see how they are drift and trained by the rest of the older team in direct feedback. This year we had one of those young guy. He was really good at this. Love to see people having fun doing their job."
