"Bonsai Cafe is a little secret of mine which I am reluctant to write about because this is my absolute favourite Vietnamese restaurant in the whole of Adelaide. This little eatery is located inside Bonsai Mujo, a nursery where they sell bonsai plants, supplies and hold educational classes. Head chef The Tran, has over 20 years experience making pho, having taken over his mother’s business Baria many years ago before closing up shop and retiring."

"The portions are ginormous, the food's fabulous and the coffee is great. Love their zeppoles, sort of a cross between a donut and churro. The place is always packed, goes on to show how amazing their food is. Doesn't burn a hole in your pocket either!"

"Good gelati, but disorganised. Great gelati but it's chaos when it's busy. There's no clear line or system to make sure people are served in order and many of the staff don't seem well trained in customer service. I'll keep going back (I've really missed having great gelati in norwood since cibo/pistachio closed a couple of years ago) but I really hope they sort out their serving issues. There are a lot of interesting flavours which I enjoy trying, and a good chocolate sorbet which is my favourite."
