"One of the best experiences of my visit to Japan! This onsen facility is naturally fed from a hot spring and has a sand bath, an onsen waterfall , sauna, and outdoor onsen. It also has an on-site restaurant. I found all the facilities to be very clean and in great condition. I came on a Friday early morning/afternoon, and it was not too crowded. Plenty of native Japanese which indicated to me that this was indeed a great facility. If you 're looking for an onsen in the onsen capital of Japan, book this place now in your itinerary! It is close enough to for easy access but farther away from Beppu 's city center so that it 's not uncomfortably crowded with all of us tourists. Cash Only. Parking available. Transit was easy from Beppu Station with either the Oita Kotsu bus or the Kamenoi bus. I did not have to walk more than 10 minutes."

"We ordered Taco rice with seasonal soup, Hamburg with fog and a rum-Raisin-sash for dessert. From the two I prefer the flavors of the Taco rice, including the side salad, dressing and salsa it came with. The Hamburg wasn't bad either. Especially delicious, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Beautiful relaxing atmosphere and a pleasant owner. Menu in Japanese with limited English."
