a jewel to discover in Saint Joseph of the lake. small family sugar hut (110 places) or booking is mandatory and long in advance! a homemade meal delight with a musical animation (Frodons quebecois.) is full and we eat deliciously well. Beautiful little sugar shack with lousy service. First time I've seen a sugar shack run out of creton, eggs, ham. The first courses are served without having enough for the ten at the table. We wait to get a second plate so we can all eat together. On the other hand, nice music during dinner. Nothing extraordinary for the eggs, ham, grilled bacon etc. you only have the character of the little sugar shack. View all feedback.

"Very cute restaurant with great food. Unfortunately, they need to do a lot of work on their customer service. Abrupt short greeting, almost seemed to be a bother when we asked to be seated. Sat at the table for a while before someone came to table to take order and ended up being about 4 minutes after breakfast time closed, waitress said sorry only lunch available now (even though we had been sitting and in the cafe for about 5-10 minutes. Not accommodating and poor customer service. Similar to other reviews I read. It’s a shame because the cafe is cute and food is good, but really does put a downer to your meal when customer service is poor at best."

"I used to love to eat here, ingredients were always fresh, the food was delicious, the portions fair and the prices correct for quality and quantity, I find it is now overpriced, quality and taste are no longer present, and portions have been halved, even...worst if you order take out. The last few times it has been quite disappointing. Used to love going to eat here or pick up on the way home, now not so much."

"This place is soooo good! Great for a family night out bc you can have a delicious (halal) dinner and then your entertainment is covered with all the games. They also have a giant chalk wall for kids to doodle all over FTW Photos are by F. Naqvi"
