We will be coming back , maybe next time you will have the yucca and plantains. The service was awesome!!

We try to eat here at least twice a month, but don’t want to get burnt out. Otherwise we would eat here more often!! We love our booth in the bar with our favorite server and bartender, Lizbeth!! She is the sweetest, most professional, and efficient server we’ve ever had. She remembers everything we order down to the extra glass of ice, every time. And if she knows we’re coming in, she’ll prepare it ahead of time! You just don’t find service like this anymore, but they have it at 1492!! We’ve been a couple of times and Lizbeth wasn’t there, but the young guy in her place was great as well!! Very attentive, efficient and friendly!! The only thing we would change if we could is, we would put a few more booths (for smaller parties) in the bar. We hate taking up a 6-8top booth for our party of 2 but our old Fannie’s need the cushion from booth seating. ?? That would make this a 10 out of 10 experience overall!! Love love LOVE Lizbeth and 1492!! Can’t wait to eat there next!
Met family here for dinner when we arrived into Oklahoma City. Five stars in all three categories: food was delicious, including the chips, salsa and guacamole. Most of our party ordered the Azteca platter it was yummy! Service was fabulous Gabby was attentive and offered insight into their robust menu, including her personal favorite dishes. And I really like the wall of various crosses in the bar area such cool decor. We'll definitely dine here again when we visit. Parking: Trees to shade vehicles in parking lot!
Just experienced 1492 New World Latin Cuisine! The jury is still out on the food I had the chicken beef enchiladas, and it (the chicken) was bursting with flavor. The service was super friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was nice, as we were two of only less than six this evening. Normally, they are so packed that you can't get a seat. I will recommend checking this place out if you're looking for Latin food in Oklahoma City! Especially recommend the try7ng your favorite and compare. I also liked the salsa, guacamole, and cheese dip. I shall return for another dish and hope that it blows me away.
