The baristas are amazing. They are lively, kind, and fun to chat with while getting a drink. District House has the best cold be in town, and excellent sandwiches. I recommend the Left Cost and The Italian. After just a couple visits, is greeted by name and this place quickly became a regular stop during my week. View all feedback.
What Harmony Gislason doesn't like about District House:
snackbar. when I visited, a person was busy, it took about 20 minutes to get a coffee, there is a microwave and a little oven. I wouldn't expect me to come to a real breakfast here. but if they want to work in the plaza district and a cup of coffee? Yes, that's a place to go instead of the convenience store. but I wouldn't call it a target. maybe a day. View all feedback.

Okay. honestly, district house could be very good amazing, and I get the sense that it can be really amazing. but it's amazing for all, but.
This location is a great multi use space. The atmosphere is chill and the decor is industrial. You have some tables for dining, larger tables for studying and some couches and chairs for lounging. For the size of the space there is relatively little seating, so if you are expecting a restaurant that is not what you will be getting. The interior is set up for dining, chatting, studying, live music performances and more so the feel is very open. I appreciate that they have a good selection of vegetarian items on their menu! The mixed berries are a MUST get as a side dish. With your main sandwich order you get many side dish options which I like. Their food is unique with great flavor combinations but not overly complicated. And you can't beat the affordable prices for the quality and quantity of food that you get!
Tried a cortada which I'd never heard of before. Delicious! Price on par with Starbucks but a more local experience. Sausage and gouda breakfast sandwhich also delicious.
Very chill atmosphere, nice casual place for meeting. Excellent variety of coffee from a roaster in Topeka Kansas. Friendly staff, expansive deli menu! Great music selection!
