What Alex Knoll doesn't like about Thai House:
We have ordered take-out from this restaurant three times now, and each time our order has varied in sizes. Our first experience was great, with a delicious papaya salad, pad Thai, and a small Tom Yum soup. However, the last two times we received a tiny and overpriced salad (which should cost only $5 based on the size) and only half the portion of pad Thai compared to our first order. The wait times for our orders ar... View all feedback.
Its always a treat to come to the local Thai house and eat some delicious food. The grilled squid and fried muscles are very good and some of the best we have ever had. Every time we come in we try to enjoy a different dish as well as get these two staples. You might have to wait a little bit but it has always been worth it.
Has any of us experienced the most authentic Thai food yet? If you haven’t, Thai House has earned that title. We were here for dinner and the food was so delicious. Each bite brought me back to the origin place of Thai food. Each bite of the grilled squid reminds me of the Thai street food that I tried deliciously in Bangkok. Each bite of the soft-shell crab in curry sauce brought me back to the 5-star dining experience that I had in the hotel by the Chao Phraya River. The crispy catfish is unbeatable. Those amazing dishes filled us up and we still can’t resist the not-so-sweet and creamy mango sticky rice. This is not just a dinner, it is a dining experience for those who have traveled to Thailand and want to experience the same in Oklahoma. The restaurant is decorated with real fresh flowers, even during frozen winter. That is definitely such a nice and thoughtful touch by the owner, auntie Panoi, who dedicated her 28 years in making authentic Thai food and makes it the best. Most importantly, she always home-makes the food and cooks them wholeheartedly with great quality, with her secret recipes that you will always come back for more. Oklahoma is proud to have this restaurant right in the heart of the city. With the personal touch and passion for food, they have lasted for nearly 3 decades in Oklahoma City and it is not deniable that they have won the title One of the best 100 Thai restaurants in the world.
I visited for dinner on a Thursday. The service was very friendly and attentive, and the food was amazing!! I ordered the hot and sour soup and chicken pad Thai, and I was impressed with both! Most hot and sour soups are primarily broth, in my experience. This soup had a generous amount of veggies and chicken. The pad Thai was probably slightly sweeter than some of the other places I’ve gone, but it had so much flavor. I will be going here again!
Very Good Had the Thai Tea and Pad Kee Mao one of the best dishes I've had between the other Thai places I've eaten big portions laid back atmosphere. Here for the buffet but unfortunately they no longer offer it because of Covid great food nonetheless.
Servers were attentive. Can be a bit slow sometimes. Food is always great.
