No wonder Guy visited Fieri. Fantastic place for a meal. You can even pick up some food! If you're looking for pleasure, don't go. If you are looking for fantastic people who have a great place and food with tons of taste, this place is for you to try. Many seats in the restaurant! I love this place! I enjoyed a fantastic gyro, loaded with goodness, wrapped grape leaves with exceptional taste and some wonderful bakla... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Travel By Taste Deli Market:
The food is very delicious I always liked their kabob. But they need to improve their service alot. They don't have waitress so you need to order from the cashier and wait which also means you never gonna have a refill for the drinks, also they leave their tables unclean for long time which is frustrating when you walk in. I hope they improve because I like their food so much. View all feedback.
This was my second visit to Travel by Taste. During my first visit, my wife and I had dinner together. This time it was a work dinner with some staff. I was impressed both times. You order first on the counter. Then pay at the switch when you're done. While waiting for your food to be prepared, you can have a seat in the dining room, or you can look around the market. Where else can you get (e.g.) mint flavored, carbonated, drinkable yogurt? I ordered the Tabuli and the grilled chicken Greek salad. The Mediterranean restaurants vary in the ratio of parsley to crisp wheat in their Tabuli recipes. This place may have a much larger amount of parsley than cracked wheat. Lemon juice was prominent in the plate. It was a nice preparation for the salad that followed. They put their chicken stall cabobs on the grilled chicken Greek salad. The Feta cheese on the salad comes in pieces over the size of half a dollar. It was quite mild in taste. I usually like feta cheese, but that was so mild that I couldn't enjoy it. I chose the Balsamico vinagrette dressing on the salad. She put a generous amount of dressing on her, and it was mostly good quality Balsamico vinegar. I enjoyed it, vinegar with the sliced pieces of Pita bread served with the salad. It has also well paired with the grilled chicken. You can order this dressing on the page or order another dressing if you prefer to have less balsamico vinegar on your salad. The service is friendly, but a little slow. I agree with one of my employees: I am glad to know that this restaurant is around, and I will definitely return if I have to fulfill my desire for Gyros or schish kabobs.
Every time I have a guest from the city, I take them to this place and they are always very impressed. The falafel sandwiches re the best in town and the owners are always pleasant. In addition, the eclectic grocery section is a great place to find various and delicious foods.
Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavors in its best! This small place is the property of an Iranian couple who has long made Oklahoman's smile. The food is just fantastic. Prepared and served exactly right. Some recommendations: Try Her humus, it's just great! Your lamb cabobs, phenomenal... And you should really try their French fries! They roast them in olive oil! Downside: the service could be a bit better, they are usually super busy so it takes a while to get around...
Our meal was delicious. I liked the Balsamico Dressing they had for the salads. It was a little hard to get someone attention to put us/menus/take our order. But that was the only complaint. A little international market too.
Consistently good.. It's all good, even the iced tea! There are alot of good restaurants in OKC serving this kind of food, but this one continues to shine. I've had many of their dishes and all of them have been good. Even their flatbread is a winner......so tender.
