My wife and I have been stopping at this restaurant for many years on our trips from or to Lethbridge/Calgary and have always enjoyed it.On 12 June this year, we found it to be better than ever. A bit less cluttered, nice art on the walls and very friendly and accommodating staff.We each enjoyed a tasty, moist, Morning Glory muffin and good coffee.Looking forward to our next visit fir coffee or lunch. What User doesn't like about Stuthornes on Main:
We were there on a Sunday. No one greeted us. The young lady behind the counter was not friendly and we felt like we were bothering her (we were the only 2 people in the restaurant). Food came fairly quickly and I had ordered Cornbread as a side - there was a short blonde hair in it. Disappointed. View all feedback.
This restaurant is definitely worth the trip from anywhere in southern Alberta! Everything on the menu is fresh and delicious. Don't miss the apple pie - it's so good it'll make you want to drive through a blizzard just to have a slice!
I discovered this small restaurant on Trip Advisor during a road trip and it turned out to be an amazing find! The soup was outstanding with a variety of vegetarian options, the freshly baked biscuits were delicious, and the pie was excellent. I would definitely make a special trip to eat here again.
Went in to use the bathroom and stayed because of the amazing service and wonderful vibe. The best corn bread and lemon butter ever! A great stop to make, well worth it!
Took my kids here today. They LOVED it. Asked to try all the food, loved everything we had. Staff was wonderful and welcoming. Can't wait to go back. I would drive the 50 mins from Calgary just to have another bowl of soup. Amazing. Thanks
Great food and amazing pies. If the Butter Tarts are on the menu, make sure you try them!
