I am very used to eat Naepoletan Pizza. This pizza was ok but I ate better ones. The border of the pizza doesn't seem very Naepolitan. If you are looking for authentic Naepoletan pizza I think this not the place but If you are looking for pizza you can have a try. PS. They have lemon fanta which is weirdin Italy and it's a plus. This was our first time at il vesuvio. We had a fabulous experience from Gosia. She was attentive and smiley throughout the service deserves a pay rise. What wonderful lady! Food was amazing and we will definitely be back here again!
Having visited Naples before and definitely sure that napolitan pizza is the best in the world we decided to go to Il Vesuvio and see if the pizzas were as good as the ones in Naples. Although not 100% the same, they are the closest thing I've ever tasted at restaurants that claim they make napolitan pizza. Very large choice of pizzas and staff was really nice. However, the pizza did take a while to make it to the table. The restaurant is very big and was full so it could have been because of this as well. We got a table on arrival, however it did seem like a good idea to book a table beforehand.
Friendly staff, very good pizzas, just loses a star for no drinks menu (tricky when their English is limited) and dessert was average. Would definitely go again for pizza though very tasty
The employers are kind the food was very good ... the pizza was awesome and the pasta was not so good but tasty
Very clean and organised restaurant. Fast and Friendly service. Loved the warmth atmosfer and the house water bottle. The Pizza I was not so keen on as too much cheese, watery and doughty. But that my taste as u prefer them with more crispy base than soft.
