Love Love I love this place. We visited last month. After closing, we didn't know that lights were still on. And they made us sandwiches! And they were delicious!! Great prices and servings and wonderful friendly staff. We are small entrepreneurs and know the challenges. You were really great. We will soon visit the beach and can not wait back. Thank you. I am not sure if there may be new owners, but I have always had a good Italian sandwich from here and referred lots of folks. We bought two Maine Italian's yesterday with barely any filling which is not a real Maine Italian. Very disappointed. View all feedback.

"I visit from Portland, Maine from Canada a few times a year. I always try to get bagels from Scratch, as they are a family favorite. I am from Portland and love the Willard Beach area. It makes for a great location for this “sweet”, little bakery. The staff are great and always cheery. The baked goods are amazing. We always get bagels and herb cream cheese. My partner likes their vegan cream cheese. The coffee is pretty good too. The only down fall is I sometimes can’t get bagels because they sell out so darn fast. That’s usually a huge disappointment to the fam."

"Been here several times in the past and the food never disappoints. The peach salad appetizer was amazing with warmed peppers on top. The Blackberry brown butter tart with dulce de leche ice cream was also superb! Service was a tad slow and the prices have increased, though that's not uncommon across the industry. Still love the open kitchen vibe, bread, wine list and house cocktails. If you are looking for a decadent night out in Portland, ME, this should be your destination"
