What User likes about Toro Salao:
we thought of some appetizers and a drink and later came to dinner again and then again 2 nights later. the calamari and fischtacos were both extremely tasty. we ended with the mahi mahi dinner with roasted vegetables and they were cooked to perfection to make us a perfect meal. the waiting staff was very friendly and offered great suggestions. the location directly at the beginning of their journey to the old san ju... What User doesn't like about Toro Salao:
we had many great dinners in puerto rico. that wasn't one of them. while a similar check to the other restaurants that we went to $50 per person, the quality of eating was not almost as good as other restaurants such as oceano or cocina abierta. in addition, the sangria was a $28 pitcher of fruit juice. The limited menu at this Spanish restaurant was disappointing. Other than the croquetas which were delicious. Great location with fun patio.
