"Poor quality food regarding price.They up sell you the water. It gets two stars as the other waitress was very friendly. The meat was dry and tasteless and the food came without any salad which you would expect seeing the price tag."

"4 stars not 5 because I am NOT in favor of the 3G rule. Not sure if the are forced by the government to implement it or they chose to implement and force it on people! Both are ugly. Otherwise, the place is good. Finally, I can only say that I wish to come back only when the 3G rule is no longer implemented."

"Our large group was so happy to find this jewel in oldenburg, with a lot of seat under cover on their sweet little terrace. the personal could not have been more friendly. all staff were friendly, nice and very attentive service was fast (and we were an unexpected group of 9! . the cakes were amazing and all tees, coffee and hot chocolate were enjoyed by all! many thanks to the appeltje caffe team that they have made us so welcome and happy and we will make sure everyone knows that they come to see when in oldenburg:"

"Many thanks for my bad birthday! on 06.08.21 a table for 14.08.21 on Saturday booked! my 45-e birthday! at 17:30 am I stood there in front of the door with invited friends to read that everything is closed w. 09.08.21 to 02.09.21! a call or information on reservation would have been enough to me! on the web page that I called was nothing of it. the most bitter birthday of my life! P.S. we were not the only people who stared so stupid at the closed door!"
